This is the ground under expert and reasoning evaluation work. Every listing that asks you to mark maths, science or research answers stands on it. It is the path most people skip and then get stuck without.

What you learn

You practise the two things every judging job needs. You read numbers so a wrong one looks wrong to you. You take an argument apart into the claim and the support. Then you find the first step where somebody's working goes wrong, instead of only marking the final answer.

Why this order

Numbers come first, because you cannot check an argument whose figures you cannot read. Arguments come next. Judging somebody else's working comes last, because it needs both.
