Rate on a five-level scale

What this lesson is about

Use a scale from Fails to Meet up to Fully Meets. Write the anchor for each level before you rate.

Fifty search results sit in your queue and the brief hands you five levels. Where do you start?

Why this matters

Most rating work is bought in levels, not in a yes or no. The public guidelines that search raters work from run two such scales. Each level is taught there by example, not by definition. A level with no written anchor is a feeling, and feelings do not repeat.
