How to read the scale
Each rule below is scored from 0 to 5. Three points carry a written line: 0, 3 and 5. Work that sits between two of them takes the point in between.
A reviewer records one of three marks. This is the whole mapping:
- Not met — 0 or 1
- Partly — 2 or 3
- Met — 4 or 5
हर नियम 0 से 5 तक आँका जाता है। 0, 3 और 5 के लिए लिखी हुई पंक्ति है। बीच का काम बीच का अंक लेता है। जाँचने वाला तीन में से एक निशान दर्ज करता है: 0-1 का अर्थ नहीं, 2-3 का अर्थ कुछ हद तक, और 4-5 का अर्थ पूरा।
Rule 1
The choice is made by a named criterion, not by style.
चुनाव किसी नामित मानदंड से हुआ है, लिखने की शैली से नहीं।
Score 0. The reason rests on length, tone or confidence. No criterion is named.
कारण केवल लंबाई, लहजे या आत्मविश्वास पर टिका है। कोई मानदंड नहीं बताया गया।
Score 3. One criterion is named. The rest of the reason still leans on style.
एक मानदंड बताया गया है। बाकी कारण अब भी शैली पर टिका है।
Score 5. Every claim points at a named criterion. Style is never the reason.
हर बात किसी नामित मानदंड की ओर इशारा करती है। शैली कभी कारण नहीं बनती।
Rule 2
Each claim points at the exact place in the answer.
हर बात उत्तर में ठीक उसी जगह की ओर इशारा करती है।
Score 0. The reason talks about the answer as a whole. Nothing is quoted.
कारण पूरे उत्तर के बारे में है। कुछ भी उद्धृत नहीं किया गया।
Score 3. One line is quoted. The other claims stay general.
एक पंक्ति उद्धृत है। बाकी बातें सामान्य रह जाती हैं।
Score 5. Each claim quotes the line it rests on.
हर बात उसी पंक्ति को उद्धृत करती है जिस पर वह टिकी है।
Rule 3
The note says what a fixed answer would contain.
नोट बताता है कि सुधरे हुए उत्तर में क्या होगा।
Score 0. The note says only what is wrong.
नोट केवल यह बताता है कि क्या गलत है।
Score 3. A fix is suggested. Its shape is left to the writer to guess.
सुधार का संकेत है। उसका रूप लिखने वाले को खुद अंदाज़ा लगाना पड़ता है।
Score 5. The note names the change and what the fixed answer would say.
नोट बदलाव भी बताता है और यह भी कि सुधरा उत्तर क्या कहेगा।
