Work a batch without drifting

Flag: an item is flagged when two labels both fit the guideline's words after one re-read. It is also flagged when the message's key word is marked unclear. I write the item number, both labels, and the guideline line beside it. A flag is finished work; a guess is not.

चिन्हित: कोई मामला तब चिन्हित होगा जब एक बार दोबारा पढ़ने के बाद भी दो लेबल दिशानिर्देश के शब्दों में बैठें। तब भी, जब संदेश का मुख्य शब्द अस्पष्ट लिखा हो। मैं मामले का नंबर, दोनों लेबल, और उसके बगल में दिशानिर्देश की पंक्ति लिखता हूँ। चिन्हित मामला पूरा काम है; अंदाज़ा नहीं।

Skip: only an item that is not a customer message at all, like a forwarded greeting or an empty line. I write 'skip' with the reason. A hard message is never skipped; hard means flag.

Slow-down signal: the pace for this batch is 40 items in 140 minutes, about 3 and a half minutes each. If three items in a row take under one minute, I stop and re-read my three fixed examples. After item 20, I re-decide 5 items from the first 10 with their labels covered. If any differ, I fix them and log it.

Re-decided sample after item 20: items 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, labels covered. Item 8 came out complaint instead of other. Line 7 of the guideline supports complaint, so I changed it and noted the drift. The other four matched.

Items 21 to 40: slow-down fired at item 29, three in a row under a minute. Stopped, re-read the fixed examples, went on. Item 31 asks the price and says the last part was faulty, two intents in one message. The guideline has no label for two, so flagged: price or complaint. Finished 8:55, pace 3 minutes 22 seconds. The pace is a figure about this batch on this night, nothing more.
