How to read the scale
Each rule below is scored from 0 to 5. Three points carry a written line: 0, 3 and 5. Work that sits between two of them takes the point in between.
A reviewer records one of three marks. This is the whole mapping:
- Not met — 0 or 1
- Partly — 2 or 3
- Met — 4 or 5
हर नियम 0 से 5 तक आँका जाता है। 0, 3 और 5 के लिए लिखी हुई पंक्ति है। बीच का काम बीच का अंक लेता है। जाँचने वाला तीन में से एक निशान दर्ज करता है: 0-1 का अर्थ नहीं, 2-3 का अर्थ कुछ हद तक, और 4-5 का अर्थ पूरा।
Rule 1
The written guideline decides the label, not personal taste.
लेबल लिखित दिशानिर्देश से तय होता है, अपनी पसंद से नहीं।
Score 0. The label follows personal taste. The guideline is not mentioned.
लेबल अपनी पसंद से चुना गया है। दिशानिर्देश का ज़िक्र ही नहीं है।
Score 3. The guideline is followed. The disagreement is mixed into the label.
दिशानिर्देश माना गया है। असहमति लेबल के भीतर ही घुल गई है।
Score 5. The guideline decides the label. Disagreement travels as a separate note.
लेबल दिशानिर्देश से तय होता है। असहमति अलग नोट बनकर आगे जाती है।
Rule 2
A close call names the guideline line that decided it.
मुश्किल मामले में वह पंक्ति बताई गई है जिसने फैसला किया।
Score 0. No guideline line is quoted for any case.
किसी भी मामले के लिए कोई पंक्ति उद्धृत नहीं है।
Score 3. A line is quoted once. Other close calls are left unexplained.
एक बार पंक्ति उद्धृत है। बाकी मुश्किल मामले बिना कारण के हैं।
Score 5. Every close call names the line that decided it.
हर मुश्किल मामला उस पंक्ति को बताता है जिसने फैसला किया।
Rule 3
An unclear item is flagged, never guessed.
अस्पष्ट मामला चिह्नित किया जाता है, अंदाज़े से नहीं भरा जाता।
Score 0. Unclear items are guessed so the count keeps moving.
गिनती चलती रहे, इसलिए अस्पष्ट मामलों में अंदाज़ा लगाया गया है।
Score 3. Some unclear items are flagged. The hand-in note omits them.
