What is open, and what is not yet
Open curriculum.
Every published lesson is free to read without an account. They are in English, in Hindi and in every language the lessons are translated into. All of them are licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. The code is a separate question, and this page answers it plainly.

The lessons, the paths and the quests are published under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0. You may read them, copy them, teach from them, translate them and correct them, including for money.
Two conditions come with that. Name AI2Bharat as the source. Share whatever you make from them under the same licence, so the next person is as free as you were.
Reading them
Open the learning catalog. Nothing on it asks for an account, an email address or a payment. The lesson text on the page is the licensed text.
Each lesson also names the outside source it draws on, and links to it.
Open the lessonsTaking a copy
One command turns the published catalog into a standalone folder. It holds the catalog as data, one file per lesson per language, and the licence. The answer key is kept separate.
Where that folder is published is still an open decision, so it is not downloadable from this page yet. Nothing about the export changes when that decision is made; only where it is pushed does.
The code
The repository is private today. The code opens with the founding release.
Until it does, this site does not describe itself as open source. No page here links to a repository a reader cannot open.
